All Steele Industries parts come with a lifetime warranty, this does not affect your statutory rights and is in addition to them. The warranty and other associated services only apply to the original owner and claims under warranty require proof of purchase (your order number) to be valid. Warranty does not apply to wear and tear parts (for example bearings), or cosmetic damage, unless the item is faulty from new. We cannot accept 3rd party costs or workmanship under warranty claims, and the intervention of a 3rd party may void your warranty. Incurred costs or labour charges are not covered by warranty.
When returning faulty goods you must follow the same process as a return and email us first to receive a warranty number to be added to the returned goods. Items received without a warranty number may be refused. On receipt we process all items in date order and aim to respond to each warranty query within 3 working days.
Parts which are returned for warranty inspection and are deemed not eligible will be quoted for service/repair/replacement wherever possible. If you do not wish to pay for a repair, service or replacement, you will need to arrange for collection of the item from our premises at your cost. Items which are not collected 3 months from the date of receipt will be disposed of.
If a repair/replacement is not possible we reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (colour/specification may vary) or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.
Steele Industries Ltd cannot take any liability for 3rd party costs, expenses, damages or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims. Our warranty and liability applies only to the parts and cost of the supplied goods exclusively to the original owner. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
Steele Industries' high performance bicycle parts are designed to be fit for purpose for their intended use. This does not mean they are indestructible or require no maintenance during their warranty period, and items such as bearings are subject to natural wear and tear which will not be covered by warranty. Items which are abused, neglected or crashed are not eligible for warranty repair or replacement. Frequent causes of failures include pressure washing, harsh cleaners and poor installation which are easily noted on inspection and will not be covered by warranty.
